Content Production and SEO Support
This page describes a small internal editorial and SEO workflow that uses the Google Ads API only for keyword planning metrics.
Business Overview
YMD&Co., Inc. (YMD&Co.株式会社) provides content production and SEO support for website articles and editorial projects. Our work includes editorial planning, article preparation, keyword research, metadata optimization, and publishing support for our own projects and client-managed websites.
Our business model is service-based. We do not sell Google Ads API data, provide a public keyword database, resell API access, or operate a public advertising automation platform.
How We Use Google Ads
We use Google Ads for keyword planning and research. The internal tool requests historical keyword metrics for a limited set of article-related candidate keywords so editors can make better content planning decisions.
- Primary use: internal SEO and editorial keyword planning.
- Google Ads API service: KeywordPlanIdeaService.
- Google Ads API method: GenerateKeywordHistoricalMetrics.
- Requested data: keyword text, average monthly searches, competition, and bid range or CPC-related metrics.
Tool Workflow
- An editor prepares an article draft and related editorial metadata.
- The internal workflow extracts article text and generates candidate keywords.
- The tool sends a small batch of candidate keywords to the Google Ads API.
- The returned keyword metrics are used to choose a primary keyword, secondary keywords, meta title, meta description, and content tags.
- The final editorial outputs are stored in an internal spreadsheet or local result file.
What The Tool Does Not Do
The tool is not a campaign management, bidding, ad creation, conversion tracking, remarketing, billing, or account management system.
- It does not create, update, pause, remove, or optimize Google Ads campaigns.
- It does not create or edit ads, ad groups, keywords, budgets, bids, assets, audiences, or billing settings.
- It does not perform app conversion tracking or remarketing.
- It does not expose Google Ads API data through a public API or SaaS product.
Data Handling
The tool stores only article-related keyword candidates and aggregated keyword metrics needed for editorial planning. OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored in environment variables in a controlled local or server environment and are not exposed to public users.
Access to the tool is limited to authorized internal users involved in content planning and SEO work.
Compliance
We will comply with the Google Ads API Terms and Policies. We will not scrape Google properties, circumvent Google Ads UI restrictions, automate prohibited behavior, or redistribute Google Ads API data as a standalone product.
